What kind of currency is this?

recently, whild digging through some old junk of my fathers, i found a great ton of collectible coins. many i have already organized, but this one bill keeps confusing me. i have no idea where its from, and nobody i ask knows. its small, like 2" by 1", and on one side it is brown, and has a 1 in the upper right and left hand corners. in the middle, it says something in greek letters, thats something like baeiaeion the emaaoe, if i can make it as similar to english chars as i can. underneath, theres a diamond with a naked man sitting in the middle, and directly under that is says something like "apaxmh mia". on the other side, it is blue, and has two circles. the one on the right has a 1, and a bunch of illegible characters underneath. on the other side, there is what appears to be a family crest, which is a sheild(?) with a cross in the middle, and above that is a crown, and to the left and right are either gaurds or cavemen. can someone help me here?
