Does this personal satemnt sound ok?

I have chosen to apstatement biology and chemistry as I have the pion and enthusiasm for science to succeed both academically and vocationally. What’s more I want to do philosophy and ethics because I want to understand the relationship between religion and morality. I have an open mind about my final career path, and I am eager to discover a specialist area in which I could succeed. However, I believe that I have the capability to enter the demanding fields such as children's medicine or microbiology where I will relish the challenges. I'm a friendly, kind and sociable person. I love to meet new people from different backgrounds and religions; and I find it very easy to get on with people. I like to read books from different genres to learn and to expand my knowledge. I’m cl captain for yr 11 as well. I’m hard working and dependable. I have a sincere interest in school and a desire to do well. As a wise man said to me “You must learn day by day, year by year, to broaden your horizons. The more things you love, the more things you are interested in, the more you enjoy it.”
