Is this guy a loser?

I have been dating the same guy for a while. Since February of this year, I have been training for a half-marathon with Team in Training. As part of the training I have to raise a substantial amount of money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This guy has never asked me about the half marathon and/or fundraising. He has never offered to donate or support me in any way. It seems like he is being selfish and not interested in things that are important to me. Is this guy a loser? Should I walk away?
