I need to pay of rent before my court date but have no money!!!HELP?

I owe 700+ quid in rent and the council are taking me to court over it. I made a financial agreement with them and stuck to it then my bank started taking money out for other debts, I've changed my bank now but I've hardly paid much rent since because I am a young mum on benefits with an extremely high rent to pay. I'm really broke and I've tried EVERYWHERE for a job but the 17th November is approaching and they could kick us out. My boyfriend says not to worry because there are people that owe 1000's pounds rent. He said the judge will take into consideration that we've been in temporarily accommodation for three years and the rent we pay is ridiculous but say if he doesn't. What should I do? It keeps me up at night. I have the qualifications and can work but no one is hiring me. Have you been in this situation before? This is the one strain in my life at the moment.Please help thanks for your time.
